Mothers of Preschoolers

We have a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group here at Canyon Creek! If you are a mom of a child in Kindergarten or younger, join us for fun and friendship! We support each other as moms and help each other grow in faith. Our activities include on-line gatherings that we do from the comfort of our own homes and enjoyable outdoor experiences. When meeting outdoors, we follow all county guidelines to keep us safe.
Starting in September, we'll "meet" online the 1st Thursday evening and 3rd Friday afternoon each month. We will have an outdoor gathering on the 2nd Thursday each month. Our first fall meeting is on-line this Thursday evening, September 3rd! You can sign up using the link on our website - and we will get you all the details.

What is Mops?

Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.
Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past forty-five years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.
